Project : Thrivent Build Short Description: Boise Subdivision Description: NEW VOLUNTEERS: Please print and sign this Waiver Form and bring it with you to the site. You must be 16 years old or older to work at the site. Arrive by 7:30AM to turn in your waiver form, get your name tag, sign in for the day, and read the safety instructions. Our registration team will be there to welcome you. If you are under the age of 18, your waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers can be downloaded from VolunteerUp; we have them on site as well. Here are a few points about working on site: • If you can, please bring a hammer, utility knife, tape measure, safety glasses, and a pencil. We have these tools on site, if you are unable to bring them. Also, please feel free to bring any other tools that you are comfortable using. • Open-toed shoes are not allowed on site. Boots are best, but sneakers are okay. Hats, sunscreen, and work gloves are helpful. • We will have lunch at 12:00PM; we expect to finish work for the day at about 3:00PM. Please bring your lunch on Tuesday. Water is available on site. Our morning devotion will be delivered by Phil Mitchell of Federated Church of Orleans. The morning snack will be provided. Weather Policy So far, it looks like the weather will be fine on Tuesday. However, on days when it is raining hard and we are working on the exterior of the houses, we may decide to cancel work for the day, or begin at a later hour. If we need to cancel or postpone due to rain, this information is posted on VolunteerUp by 6:45AM. In addition, you can call the Habitat weather hotline at 508 362 3559, ext 3. Parking on Tuesday We encourage carpooling from the Park and Ride at Exit 10 or from Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, which is on Rte 124 just north of Rte 6. You may also park on the work site along the road or in the driveways. Please do not park in front of any neighbors houses along Oak Street.
