Project Type: Construction Description: Help build a Habitat home – No experience necessary! Most Habitat volunteers join our construction crew and help build Habitat houses in the City of New Haven. We build year-round, Tuesday through Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Our construction staff works alongside the volunteers and trains them for the tasks that are to be done that day. Most volunteers have little or no construction experience when they begin working. Due to the amount of training we invest in our volunteers, we encourage volunteers to make a steady commitment if possible.
