Project : ABWK Short Description: A Brush With Kindness Description: ABWK helps low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances, who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes, reclaim their homes with pride and dignity. Must be 18 years or older to volunteer Please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on. Safety & job orientation on site, no experience necessary but please be on time! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Habitat Riverside. We strive to aid low-income homeowners in the Greater Riverside Area and with help from hardworking volunteers we will succeed. Our projects mainly consist of painting mobile homes and at times landscaping. • We need about 15-25 volunteers to paint a mobile home • Arrival time to the mobile home park is 7:45am • We start at 8:00am and finish about 12-12:30pm • We schedule projects 2 months in advance (first come-first serve basis) • Projects are on Saturdays but can be scheduled on weekdays • Waivers must be complete and signed by all volunteers on site • Closed toed shoes are mandatory on site • Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting paint on • Water will be provided for volunteers • No need to bring supplies
