Project : Restore Short Description: Assisting with general tasks at the ReStore Description: Please come with: • a reusable water bottle • close-toed shoes • work clothes: t-shirts (no tank/crop tops) & long pants/jeans/sweats (you’ll likely get dirty) • work gloves • dress for the weather Check in at the front desk. All volunteers must sign a waiver, either at the front desk before beginning work or you can print, sign and bring it with you: Adult Waiver Youth Waiver (under the age of 18) Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts in a day. A refrigerator is available. ReStore volunteer tasks include: • Handling donations: cleaning, processing, organizing, sorting; donations can be large/heavy • Helping customers: locating an item they are looking for, loading their purchases • Working on special projects: building shelves, riding on box truck to pick up donations. • Box truck side kick must be at least 18 years old. Duties include: greeting donor, operating the lift gate, using hand truck & dolly to load donations & securing donations.
